Yes, just share the folders you want to and access them from the other PC, if you mean pc to pc alone you need to make or buy an Xover (crossover) cable if you have no switch/router etc..

Yes i mean pc to pc, is it possible to get one of these from OCUK or will i need to search for one?

They've got a cables section, but no network cables. They're easy to make, all you need is CAT5,CAT5E or CAT6 cable and 2 crimp plugs and a crimper, then you configure each end like this : http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/701/14-g_small.gif

Ahhh.. the cables section said 'networking' as well, maybe they should change it or add a link there Any of the last 5 there would work.
