My brothers notebook has packed in and I shall have to fromat and reinstall XP. The problem with netbooks as your aware is theres no DVD drive. To further the dilema I only have an ISO image of XP on an external drive. Is it possible to launch and and install XP from an ISO image connected with a USB external HDD?

Hope that makes sense, if not im open to other suggestions.

Do you have a big enough USB Stick that you can put the ISO image on?
If so, you can boot the notebook/netbook up from this USB Stick and install windows that way...
