This may sound like a very stupid question but here it is anyway!

I have a 3870xt, a 22" belinea monitor with a vga input. Since the graphics car is HD and comes with a hd converter. Can i play my PS3 through my graphics card on the 22" monitor using the hd composite cable?

Its an HDMI output, not an input, if you wanted to play your PS3
on you monitor you would have to get a tuner card, don't think any come with HDMI, if they did they would be very exspensive

VGA is an analogue input and HDMI is a digital output, you wouldnt be able to get any type of adaptor to run your ps3 through your pc monitor

I have used mine with dvi to hdmi on my ps3 fine...
