Is it still considered 'dodgy' to only have a mobile?

I lived in a couple of house-shares, then I finally got my own house 4 years ago. I chose Virgin Media (formerly NTL) as my ISP because there was no line rental. I took Virgin with me whenever I moved, always being hassle-free. My mobile is on Orange contact, therefore with several hundred free minutes. I very rarely go over the bill, and if I do, then it's only by a few quid. Having a landline would mean paying BT to fit the line, paying for a line rental plus the cost of landline calls. I'm therefore happy to just carry on paying £30+VAT a month for Raccoon 30 and £20 for Virgin. The beauty of only having a mobile is that I never ever had a cold call. I know that it can be a problem with mobile-only users. E.g. does it look bad on my CV if I only write down my mobile number? Bear in mind that I've had the same mobile number for 10 years now, same network.

dont see why it would look bad. ive not had a housephone for about 7 years

a phone numbers a phone number and in my opinion a mobile numbers better to ring because you know theres a good chance you will get in touch
