But basically comparisons are stupid, I agree. Unless we know what percentage of the commercial rights money the Football teams get? Personally I think 63% isn't a bad deal...?
 
Its ridiculous that Ferrari STILL have such a favourable deal, but thats the way the mop flops (as the saying goes).

Of course its impossible to compare F1 to any other sport (even most motorsports), while it becomes less and less risky, very few sports still have that level of danger (Ice hockey / organized fights maybe? even then they wear a lot of protection I seem to recall)

On the other hand I would suspect an average footballer's career would be longer than that of an average F1 driver (general guess, I havent seen anything eiether way)
 
Why do you single out Ferrari? Williams have a better deal than Caterham based on how long they have been in the sport, McLaren have a better deal than Red Bull again based on how long they have been in the sport.

But yeah it's all about Ferrari :D
