Hello everyone!

I hope you are all well.

About 18 months or so ago I built my first PC (primarily for gaming etc) and I was quite pleased with the way it all turned out.In fact my family could'nt believe I had done it and nor could my workmates at the time!Anyway I am now thinking about upgrading the one I built or even starting another PC build!Based on the components of my current and only build can you advise me whether to upgrade or build?

These are the components of my first build:

Thermaltake V3 Case
AMD Athlon II X2 250 3.0 Ghz CPU
Arctic Cooling Freezer Pro 7
Gigabyte GA MA770-UD3 Motherboard
WD Sata 2 1Tb HDD
Sony DVD Writer
Kingston 8Gb DDR2 Ram
ATI Radeon HD 5500 Series Graphics Card
Storm 600w PSU.

Any and all advice will be gratefully received and thank you for taking time out to read this.

i will let the power suplie, hard drive, case, optical drive
the memory ram, almost passed, but for £50 you could get and DDR3, ehcih is faster(my current is DDR at 400 MHz
MHD
ps: i was thinkg about and 6800k for the new buil, it got a good graphics card, that could run batlefiel 3 at ultra settings

Keep the case(unless you want a change), HDD and optical drive, throw out the rest and start from 'scratch'.

You're lucky the spec is absolutely mediaeval or else your PC would have gone pop long ago due to the power supply.
