Is it time to upgrade?

Hey

Just wondering if anyone was in my shoes would they upgrade any of this PC?

Case: Lian Li PC7 (This is as is, no other fans or anything - I don't know which fans to buy for it )
Memory: GeiL 4GB
CPU: E8600
CPU Cooler: Artic Cooler 7 Pro
Graphics Card: Asus ATI 4870 512mb (Not the exact one, but pretty close)
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 320GB 16mb cache
Motherboard: Gigabyte DS3-R
Sound Card: Asus Xonar DX 7.1
PSU: Corsair 520W

I would say the weak points are the motherboard and HDD. But I don't see much point in getting a new 775 motherboard atm. Should I just wait for like another 5-6 months and get an i7 build going on?

Yeah Mattus, that's what I was thinking. But the question here is, should I wait for SSD to drop in price as well? As I am pretty much using the PC for gaming and I hear they are excellent read times for loading game maps and such.

And the shocking thing is this PC is at stock settings atm (apart from ram which I forced to 1066mhz) as the last time I tried OCing, 2 months after a "stable" OC I was getting blue screens and my lovely Crucial RAM died on me and I had to RMA it

I don't have the heart for that again!
