Is it worth going from a release PS4 to the Pro??

I also did the jump as I wanted to give my original ps4 as a present. I have a panasonic 58dx802b tv. I find the ps4 pro looking awesome in it but I struggle to notice the differences with the ps4 maybe my eyes arent as good as they used to.

I dont regret it as I bought it cheap and sold the bundle games to make it cheaper,but it felt like a sidegrade for me.
On the up note my pro is a lot more less noisy than my fat one was when playing the same games.
 
Personally, after getting a 4k TV and a PS4 pro I don't really notice the difference unless I plant my face inches from the screen (samsung 55inch MU7000)
 
I've just done this - the 20% Ebay voucher yesterday means I've paid £240 for the Pro and by the time I've sold my PS4 (C chassis, 1TB) and the Fifa18 game the whole upgrade will have cost me around £70 - £80 which is an upgrade price I'm happy to pay.

Mine's pretty quiet - the loudest part of it is the optical drive. It's also got good airflow so rarely spins cooling fans up very much.

Good idea to give it an air dusting from time to time although I have filtering foam installed around all the edges to stop crap from getting in.
 
I've just made the upgrade. Updated my OS but not had time to play any games yet!

Managed to pick up a pro for £230!

So I sold my C-Chassis, 1TB - Boxed, with Lego Force Awakens (as that was the bundle I bought about 18 months ago) for £150. I had it up for £160, but accepted £150 to a local buyer via Facebook - so they came to collect, less hassle etc.
I gave them my brand new DS4 which came with my Pro as I'd already got V2 Blue & Red controllers I wanted to keep.
Then, in addition, I got £30 for my copy of FIFA18 that came with my Pro - which in turn came with Quidco.

So my upgrade price:
£299 Pro FIFA18 bundle
20% Discount via Shopto via Ebay - £240
£15 Quidco, £150 for my old PS4 and £30 for FIFA18

Total Upgrade cost: £45
Cannot complain at that I guess.

Ah nice one!

I've just sold my PS4 for £186 (500GB CUH-1216A), but I missed out on all the Pro deals like an idiot. Managed to get one for £280 which isn't too bad I suppose.
 
Need to get one eventually, got a 4K TV already (LG B6), think I might swap over when Days Gone is released, haven't played on my PS4 for a while tbh, been playing Xbox and Switch mostly. Hopefully there's a decent deal on around that time. I'll likely keep my base PS4 and move that into my game room with all my other consoles.
