Is it worth updating MoBo Bios for no real reason?

I have a B450 Pro Carbon AC and using a Ryzen 2600 at the moment. I may upgrade in the future to a Zen2 chip or perhaps even a Zen3 if its compatible. Do you think its worth me upgrading to the latest Bios? I mean there's no real reason to at the moment, but having upto date firmware is always a good idea.

The reason I ask is that on the MSI site, it mentions in a note that MSI do no recommend updating the bios unless it is necessary

Unless your dealing with a specific issue that a bios up date will resolve then there's no reason to update your mobo bios, the reason MSI & most mobo manufacturers don't recommend it is that if it goes wrong mid flash, itll brick your board, so don't risk it unless you really have to.

No reason to update to the latest BIOS at the moment if everything is working fine.

Latest version will be using the Click BIOS GSE Lite due to MSI not being able to fit their bloated BIOS on the 16MB EEPROM, although this may not matter to you.
