Not a vast amount of different to be fair, 990FX was just a rebranded 890FX.
And I don't think there was much between the 890FX and the 790FX.

(same cpu for now 965 be until i find some more dosh) m5a97 r2 mobo, ocz vertex 4 256gb, 8gb kingston hyperx genesis 1866mhz (running at 1333MHz i think) i have cpuz but not sure what to look for?
yes my pc is a lot more faster now and more responsive. maybe because of the ssd or ddr3, not sure on that one!
 
well the ssd will make the boot time quicker .. and any programmes you got on it load faster.

im getting a lot of problems bnooting atm and blue screen memory dumps . think my hardrive is dying . so i'll prob go hd/ mobo+ram then ssd purchase wise
 
picked up a samsung 840 256 gb for £109 . deal was to good to pass up :D

Samsung SSD's are pretty good, i have had an 830 for a while now, check out this boot time.

Phenom II x6 1090T; 4.1Ghz on This Cooler, Beat that if you can :D

wPrime @ 4Ghz 6.379 sec, i did do a run at 4.2 once but have lost the screeny, time was about 5.9 sec.
