Is it wrong not to like clubbing?

Even with ear plugs Delvis; you're going to the one place which will, in the long run, may do permanent damage to your ears? And to top it off you already have the one problem - Tinnitus?

It just intrigues me, because I too have tinnitus, and I hate it, and the thought of going somewhere which may make it worse baffles me

Everyones different, everyone's ears are different - mine are just super sensitive I guess :/

Indeed. My ears were ringing for days after my last outing.

Two girls asked you to go with them and you're questioning it?

WTF?

Put the GFX cards down and get yourself out Will, You'll have a fantastic time. Personally I've never been the biggest fan of clubs but I can't help but have a fantastic time every time I go out. :D;)

I had no shoes, besides, one was taken and the other ones main intention was to get on the dance floor and go pulling and I would have been left on my own, they even thought I would be and I do not like been on my own. The other off putting thing was that they had to wait ages to get in and it was so crowded inside apparently, its just off putting, why cant they go to pubs, its not a lasses thing that tho aint it.

I hate clubbing and all the associated music, just my preference.

Typically I either go to a quiet pub with a few mates or we go to a rock night. A completely different atmosphere at a Rock night than a club imo.

You are a liar, or your name is a farce.

Change it to Discohater.

Aha, but surely Disco != Club. Or at least the clubs I've been dragged in a few times.

Disco = Dancing = Clubs

You never specified what type you only said you prefered pubs which =/= disco.

Hence Admins please change his name to something more suiting :p

I am a fan of clubbing, but as I have got older my music taste has changed, I have been to the big clubs in my youth but now go less frequesntly, if I do go it is usually to see someone I like for the music. Recently went to see Theo Parrish.
:D

How can anyone not like that!

When i was younger i used to be out every weekend frequenting the local clubs. I don't go anymore, prob because im nearly 30 and growing out of it. I much prefer going to pubs or bars now, or the occasional gig or outdoor music event.

Aye sad to say I feel you man, When I was early 20's, just got out of uni, got a house and a steady job, clubbing was a big thing but I've really grown out of it with age.
I feel like I'm the oldest person in the club sometimes now, I went to revolution not so long ago and I must've been the oldest all these 18-20 year olds, not to mention my dance style is outdated :D

Nothing wrong with a gig though, doesn't matter how old you are, a gig is something everyone can enjoy.

I've not bothered going to a club yet! I prefer just going to the pub or elsewhere (not that I drink much)

That said I have heard some of the music in the local clubs here, I'd rather not subject myself to it.

I quite like clubbing, but it's all about the people you go with; that'll either make or break the night.

I keep saying that I'll organise a load of us to go to Sensation White (http://www.sensation-white.com), but I'm yet to actually succeed in having the funds and time available.

So what? I can't remember ever wearing anything other than a pair of vans to get into a club :p

A lot of 'decent' clubs wouldn't let you in with a pair of skate shoes.

There's nothing wrong with feeling like that, it's just how I feel.

I'd much rather have a good evening chatting over a few pints in a nice pub that go clubbing.

Before I turned 18 I had no interest in going out clubbing of a weekend, i saw it as a waste of money and the day after also is wasted recovering. I still think this today but slowly beginning to enjoy my weekends out and moderating what I drink, then I can get merry but still enjoy the day after without feeling rough!

Ive got back in touch with a lot of old friends recently so starting to go bars/clubs to regain what became a very lonely and boring social life!

Places nowadays, for some reason, require 'smart shoes' to get in them now...

To be honest, as long as they're not covered in mud, and got holes in...whats the difference.

for you guys who don't go clubbing, where did you meet all the girls you've been with? Especially if you move to a new town.

Of course it can be said there are less high quality (personality, morale wise) girls at clubs but there are also damn hot girls there too.

It's not so much about the 'quality' of girls in clubs, more about the way it's impossible to talk to anybody in a club! I don't exactly see a club as a source of long-term girlfriends - really, virtually any other social activity is better for getting to know girls than clubbing. Of course, if commitment's not what you're after...
