picking up a certain forum members car tomorrow.

some of you may recognise it...

booked in for a DMS remap and delimit on friday and then off to nurburgring on sunday morning.

sleeping tonight is going to be tough.

Ive been waiting for this thread for a few weeks. Lovely car mate.

IIRC they will do around 204mph delimited, could be way off though.

How much more power does the remap make? Cant be much as the Ecu already uses air ionisation for optimum ignition advance.

Google suggested +40BHP

"The re-map is applied to both P400 & P500 modes & increases the torque by about 60nm in gears 3 through 7 again in both gearbox modes (1st & 2nd are locked down by BMW) & of course it increases overall torque by 60nm as well as a power hike to 448BHP & 538BHP respectivley."
