Well it really depends on ICsstandard ddr4 2400mhz kits will hit 4000+
Some will hit 4000, some will struggle with 3200.
DDR5 memory reviews are more interesting to me than Alder Lake. Experience says DDR5 will beat DDR4 in a short while, like happened in previous iterations.
I still keep my Kingston Fury kit I bought with Skylake launch, DDR4 early days. Hynix chips, 2666 15-17-17 (stock, even without XMP). They ticked at stock timings DDR4-3000, 1.28V for many years. An example of early good DDR4.
But pick any B-die, and it is not comparable. Lower timings, higher clocks.
Question is, how soon until good "B-die" on DDR5
