Is my 2080ti going wrong?

Hi

I purchased a Palit 2080ti, its been fine for a week or two, but suddenly its started booting me out of BFV. Originally I was getting artefacts then a system hang No error message or blue screen., I updated Nvidia drivers and it worked fine again (5 hour BF session). Today I jumped on and after 40 mins BFV started stuttering then simply hung and it booted me to windows. Windows was operating but very slowly, mouse hanging etc.

Oddly enough, its fine on Kingdom Come deliverance, no issues at all.

Ive got an RMA agreed from Overclockers, but does this sound like a hardware issue??

Its on the verge of dying. Space invaders may strike soon. RMA immediately

I've already had Space Invaders, twice. One on BFV and one when I restarted to windows. I then restarted and it was fine.

Goddamit, for the 1k+ you simply don't expect this

Genuinely sorry to hear you’re having these issues, it must be so disappointing to drop that amount of cash on the latest card and have it turn out like this.

Hopefully it’ll get sorted ASAP, and Nvidia ultimately pays the price for not only bending over its customers, but rushing a release of a product just to squeeze out as much profit as possible.

Yes really dissapointed to be honest. I’m due to upgrade the rest of my rig in the NY when sales are on, but its current state should still be more than enough to run a 2080ti.

Corsair 850w PSU

I’m sending back to OC tomorrow, I’m just hoping that they review and replace quickly.

Yeah faulty, the 20s are broken, something like a 60% failure rate (or that might just be for the Ti).

If the figure was actually true NVidia should be doing a total product recall on the FE 2080 Ti cards.

3 to 5 days mate mines has been there since Wednesday I think so I’m hoping they email me tomorrow .

I’ve basically asked for a replacement so im not sure why they have to go through testing of the card. I took a bunch of photos of mine artifacting just in case they try to fob me off.

I thought when you spend this kind of money yes the testing is a pain in the but . They have to see it for them shelves I guess but if I it wasn’t faulty I wouldn’t have sent it back . Was really happy with the performance I was gettin .

Come to think of it this is the 2nd rma I’ve ever done with OcUK outa the years I’ve being get my pc components and I’m happy with the service I’ve been gettin .

Same mate, Kingdom Come and BFV looked absolutely stunning on 4K ultra. Seriously amazing card, just a real shame the boards are naff. Must be frustrating for OC and other retailers who have to deal with the high return rates.
