Is my 2080ti going wrong?

I really want to buy a 2080 ti from OC to complete my setup, but I simply cant pay while all of this is still going on. Does anyone know when this bad batch of initial cards will clear out and we get a second wave of deliveries without these 'limited test escapes'?

1k for a GPU should never carry this risk. So frustrating.

If you want one, get one. Just one with a long and extensive warranty like EVGA (that you can extend to 5 years for a measly 25 euros) / Zotac 5 years / some of the good gigabyte cards are 4 years etc.

If it goes poof in the beginning you deal with a great retailer with great customer service and a replacement a few days later, if not a week. If later you've got the longevity of the card guaranteed with the small inconvenience of sending it back for a week or two max.

Having the odd black screen and losing video with not booting a few times so I may have to add mine to the failure list

Yep- add my PalitGamingPRO OC with fitted Phanteks block to the list of RMAs

Oh that sucks, a failed card is bad enough, but after putting water blocks on it and having to go through all the trouble of redoing everything again when the replacement arrives. Hope you have no trouble with the RMA.

Just curious, how long have you had the card?

I’ve had the card almost two months- the water block was pre installed so at least I didn’t do that

The cards are failing at completely random times. From 2 hours to 2 months and doesn't seem to matter what they are doing or how cool they are.

That's a small bit of good news, at least you don't have the hassle of uninstalling and reinstalling the water block.
