I've got a Kingston 64GB USB stick
I connected it to my windows machine today and noticed it was only 115mb capacity.
I used the cmd prompt to clean/partition and format - all good, or so I thought. Later in the day I tried to move some files to the stick and windows told me it needed formatting first - Windows would not allow me to format. Kept reporting errors.
In Disk Management I could see the hard drive - all the other drives were blue showing used/available space, this stick was black and unallocated. Create new volume reported an error.
CMD is reporting errors if I 'select disk' and my iMac and MBP do nothing when I connect the stick to them.
Nothing mounted on desktop, finder, nothing in disk utility or system information.
Bin job or am I missing something?
Cheers
