is my 780ti SLI benchmark ok?

Thanks for the information Gripen90. I still want to oc the cards to get them near the windforce speeds, do you think this is possible with stock fans?

It should be. With either MSI Afterburner/EVGA Precision just pull power target to the max at set at max temperature of 90°c and then make a new fanspeed profile/configuration to suit your cooling needs. As mentioned when my cards hit the hottest temperature the fanspeed is only 54%, so there should be a good potential to get a lot more out of the cards if overclocking is your thing :)

I feel uneasy about the temp target. Would setting it at 90 mean the gpu temp can reach 90 before it throttles? I don't want a heavy oc, like I said. Just something that matches the factory overclocks.

Go water, they'll do 1124 core all day long on boost at stock :p

90C would be my limit for temp target personally on air, especially seeing as it's getting warmer out.

Not got the time to install water cooling, but if I did what would you go for in a corsair 540 case?

Also 90c sounds scary to me. Could I not leave it at 83c and still get a good oc with ok noise level?

It means that if it hits 90°c then it will just run at it normal base clock and not initiate any boost (it doesn't throttle!) it's the same when you set the target temp to 80 or 83°c.
90°c is still "safe" - it's not the 95°c operating temperature like R9-290/290X ref. cards.

Set the target temp to 85°c then and try setting a fan profile with a fanspeed/noise you find acceptable at 83°c target temp to keep the GPU cool.
