Okay so I’m new to PC building and I’ve done a little research. All I want to know is are all of my parts I’ve chosen compatible with eachother and would they fit in my case? Also if you have a better suggestion for anything I’ve picked, something that works better or better value for money.
CPU - AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz 6-core
CPU cooler - Deepcool GAMMAXX 400 Blue 74.34 CFM CPU cooler

Okay that’s great thanks! Up to about £1000 is my budget and I wanna use it for gaming, I don’t need anything too fancy though because I work full time, but I want to switch from my console to PC. So anything that can run most games at 60fps with decent graphics is fine by me

£1000 is a good budget! Should be able to knock together a nice spec for that money. I'll have a look in a little while. In the mean time I'm sure others will be along to advise!

What resolution/refresh rate monitor do you intend to use the system for?

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £892.19 (includes shipping: £12.30)

Something like this would be solid for both 1080P and 1440P, there's room left over in the budget for more storage if needed.

It's worth noting that the new consoles coming end of year will be cheaper than this build and will contain more powerful hardware if all you want to do is play games.

5500XT is quite a weak GPU, this one is much better assuming its going to be used mainly for gaming.

I personally wouldnt bother with a HDD unless its for bulk storage and certainly not putting the OS on one an NVME is the way to go.

Always get a decent PSU as it will last longer than all your other components.

While 3000mhz ram is ok for ryzen 3200 is a bit better and still very cheap.
