No it is not Speedstep.. read my post mate. It was TM.
 
I only just noticed this feature after booting up cpuz and i goto say its a great idea, love the idea when i want to do something the cpu goes too the higher multiplier, far better than sitting high and not being used.
 
I agree! Don't see why it's a problem to be honest, the cpu steps up when it needs to anyway?

A little bit of planet saving goes a long way! ;)
 
Hey, 10w is 10w! Times by a few thousand people and it starts to have an effect... ;) Leave the TM on!

What have you managed to get your 6600 clocked to :)
Also, did you buy your stuff from OCUK....just want to know if the latest boards are coming with the Conroe enabled bios or not.
