is my graphics card faulty?

Hi

I have a bfg 512mb 8800gt oc1, and today i'm getting all these artifacts and red steak lines on my monitor, i have problems for a while with lock ups i assumed it was the ram gone faulty, but for the last few days i've got weird artifacts and streaks and now today they wont go away and i cant boot into either linux or windows, ruled out the monitor.

anyone know the problem or any fixes?

If your card still in warranty, then yes time for rma.

If warranty expired, you could try the oven fixing trick.

how do i open an rma? i sent an email form on the support page, but havent received any rpely after 2 days, how long does it usually take? also do i need my login details when i registed the product? as i forgot them
