Is my graphics card on the way out?

I've got a EVGA 580 GTX which is near to being two years old now. It's never been overclocked, just left stock.

Lately I've been experiencing random crashes whilst playing WoW or CoD, especially if I'm streaming to twitch at the same time at 720p.

I've been through both the technical supports for both games and have played around with all sorts of latest/older/beta Nvidia drivers to see if it would remedy anything, but nothing seems to make a difference.

I guess my question is, is it typical behavior for a graphics card to cause issues with random crashing if there is a problem with them at a hardware level?

Corsair AX850 and a GTX 570 here, I haven’t seen any recent issues using the 314.22 drivers. Avoid the 320.18 though as there have been reports of them damaging cards, causing weird texture issues and random crashes.

It does sound like a Hardware issue though if you can isolate the same behaviour even after a fresh install of your OS and the behaviour occurs on several games and applications.

Yeah I've gone back to the 314 drivers, first noticed the issues after installing version 320.

I will do some testing on other games and maybe something like 3D Mark and see if I can get it to crash.
