Is my Hard Drive going?

Hello everyone,

Little worried as just had this popup from the Drive Health 2.0 application:

When going into the application i see this, it also says my raptors going to go the day after :confused:

I have had a look in speedfan which shows everything is fine:

Please help / advise, going to struggle to find 250gb to put all the stuff on this drive

very interesting,, i just downloaded that software and it tell me that my brand new seagate 250 gig 7200.10 drive which is now 2 days old is going to die on the exact same date as your samsung drive. coincidence? i doubt it. that software is crap and not to be trusted.

You could be right, might just be trying to make us purchase the software etc...

Im tempted to still backup my stuff though :/ i have 227gb of data on the drive.

Think i might reboot PC and see if errors still there etc ....

To be on the safe side, back up your data. As for the software, delete it mate.

The software has got it wrong, this is quite evident from the fact that it says your Maxtor is fine

Jokes aside, it's obviously a pile of **** and I wouldn't bother having it installed (definitely don't buy a license for the thing).

Backing up critical data is never a bad thing, but if you hadn't noticed anything wrong before you ran the dodgy application then I doubt any of your drives are about to fail. Especially the Raptor, it's a server drive with a 5-year warranty.

I've experienced the same thing...says my drive is dying in Drive Health, but speedfan says its fine.
