Is my HDD about to die?!

I get a message from the BIOS when booting saying:
"Pri Master Hard Disk: SMART status BAD, Backup and Replace"

SpeedFan shows the SMART data, and I can see the Spin Up Time is below the threshold. It's currently got a value of 5!

Anyone had any experiences with low spin up times?

I'm starting to backup my data any, just in case, onto my alternate drive.

It's not an old drive either. Bought in June '06.

Anyway, I've initiated the RMA process with Western Digital - Must say I was very impressed by the process. You can choose an "advanced RMA" process, which is where they send you a replacement part, no questions asked, and after you receive the replacement, you ship back the dud one.
This allows you to migrate over to the new one, so you don't have to be without a HDD :)

Fingers crossed the drive lasts until replacement arrives!

Not necessarily going to die, but would replace it asap as somethings functioning out of parameter for SMART to throw up an error, had enough clients ignore SMART for years and the hdd worked, only until i got the system back or had to maintain it somehow would i see the error.
