Is my HDD dying?

Hi
I've got a 2TB WD Green drive for my media storage drive and whenever its in use now (read or write) my whole system grinds to a holt. Even playing back a standard def video causes stuttering.

My other 2TB drive is fine, read and write.

Is it dying a slow death?

run the WD diag tools to scan it. will let you know if there are issues.

Did this suddenly occur and how old is it? It is possible for the hard drive to be dieing

ran the wd diag on both my storage drives, the one i suspect to be dodgy failed with the below result, other one passed.

guess the drives about 3 years old.

i will get HD tune pro and do error scan
That and normal benchmark
If you have data recover it
And attempt a full format
