Hi

I have Corsair Vengeance 16gb (4x4gb)

here are my memory speeds:

ive checked bios (asus maximus hero) and memory speed is set to auto.

CPU z is showing 10700 but it should be 17066. Is my board running my memory at a slower speed on auto?

Your running at 1333mhz, pop back in the BIOS manually setup the settings.

Edit: or load the XMP file which is done in the BIOS.

Ive just done that, set it to 2133mhz, my SPD tab Max bandwidth is still reporting pc310700 (677mhz) but my memory is now reading as:

I think its one of two things, the memory is overclocked and the default settings are what it's reading or the default speed for the system is 10700mhz, but belongs your Memory tab is reading 1068~ and the system is stable your all set :D

If you have windows 8,you can double check by opening task manager and clicking Memory,it displays Mem bandwidth speed :)

You should not need a benchmark buddy :), the ram is running at 2133 Windows always reads ram speed in half.

But if you still want a benchmark this is the only one i know.
