so, this morning, turn on comp, screen is black. i tihnk weird, so eventualyl i hit resen on the comp. boots up. monitor is 800 x 480 or something, not native 1920x1200. computer is seeing the monitor as a generic pnp monitor.
much dicking around later, it seems that if vga is used its detects and works (from laptop output) so had to swap to old gpu that had vga out. so im back to radeon 5550 using vga into my dell u2412m
so, is the monitor dying? can one input die but not the rest?
