Is my Multi Meter faulty ?

If you do get a new one OP put the old one up on eBay as vintage Fluke gear is very collectable.

really ? cool, thanks mate

i bought mine from a car boot sale as me and mate were just looking around (we were about 18) and i saw this fluke meter, and said to me buy it as its one of the best makes if not THE best
just can not remember how much i paid for it, dont think it was a lot

I had a expensive multi meter that had to be calibrated but left it in garage with batteries in and they leaked onto circuit board. Duh!

Got a cheapy now and keep it in house - always take batteries out of everything - Never leave my 18v stuff in garage.

No, a resistor.

//side note: I'm sending all our sparkies' stuff off for calibration tomorrow. If any of them fail I'll drop you a trust. For the price of postage you could bag a nice decent Fluke with probably nothing wrong with it.

Why the rolleyes?

Can I be number 4 if you happen to have that many fail the calibration?
