Is my new window ilegal and can i open it yet?

So i had a new window installed in a box room yesterday.

about 36hours ago to be precise.

It's got toughend glass and double laminate interlayers.
it has the standard 2 openings at the top so not getting out if theres a fire lol.

The last thing the fitter said was don't open it for a day as the silicone needs to dry so i am wondering if its likely to be 100% dry now?

BUT i was thinking its been wet cold and windy and would that of slowed the
chemical reaction down in drying?

I'll leave it until tomoz anyway.

update: apparently my brother had overheard what the fitter said and he actualy said leave it a couple hours..

DOH @ me !.

anyway... I've noticed an improvement in the noise reduction
due to the glass used.

they used 6.4mm and double laminate what ever that is? lol.
