is my PSU good enough?

Hi guys its upgrade time again im looking to get this http://eve-files.com/dl/246095 im on a tight budget and was wondering if my Hiper 580 PSU would manage to run the above system. I have had it for a few years now its served me well but do i need to replace it? and if so what size should i go for ? I havent really seen anything that tells me what size PSu i need.

get the retail version of the cpu for £2 more, gives you an extra 2 years of warranty.
get the lite version of the cm 690 ii, should save £20
get the 212+ or tranquillo for the cooler, should save another £30
if not planning sli in the future, get the msi p67a-c45, should save another £25
use the savings made to get a new/better psu, you dont want that psu to blow up your new components.

mm thanks for that, never knew there was a problem with the PSU. So with that in mind i will add a Corsair Enthusiast Series TX 650W V2 to the basket

thanks for the input added the Antec to the list im tempted to stay with the corsair hydro as i want to get the i5 up to around 4.4 - 4.5GHz

Ah fair enough, in which case it will be more than good enough to get the 2500k up to 4.4......but doesnt look as good!

unless the OP is planning on getting a window for the CM 690 II, the only time hell be looking at the cooler is when
he puts it together for the first time
when he adds a PCI device
adds SSD/HDD

I would rather have a better PSU than a better looking CPU cooler

The CM Hyper 212+ will take you to 4.5GHz with no problem saving about £25.
