Corsair psu's ok?

Need one that fits in a prodigy, ie 160mm ish

Corsair make some nice PSU's, their AX series are good, some of them have a 7 year warranty or similar, something like this http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-096-CS&groupid=701&catid=123&subcat=1084 would work as well, it's semi modular so only a few essential cables are non modular.

Also have a look at Seasonic and XFX PSU's, I've got a Seasonic myself and it's flawless

I've been running the rig in my sig below (with SLI 670's) on my great but aging 6 year old antec 650w (TP trio) for the last 5 months or so.

It worked absolutely fine, but when both GPUs were under heavy load the fan in the PSU used to ramp right up, and it made me nervous to be honest. It felt like it was really gunning and I think I was really pushing the limits for my system.

The antec 650w (TP trio) is rated at 624W +12 V so not so bad, but running an over spec PSU helps a lot with noise.

It will be fine, but the PSU will ramp up its PWM fan which will totally defeat the point of having a silent PSU. So you will proberbly want to consider a new one.

Go for a 750 watt and any of the corsair, XFX or seasonic are all pretty good.
