Hey guys i used to have 2 x 150gb raptors WD1500ADFD in raid 0...thing is every couple of days its would lock up and raid array would go from healthy to unhealthy and wudnt boot..
I would mess with wires disconnect and reconnect and then it would boot up after 20 minutes of playing
A freind said it could be dry joints in the hdd as pc is on 24/7 and never gets turned off or rebooted
Its driven me so mad that i reinstalled windows onto 1 of the hard drives...dam i miss the speed of raid...either normal mode is uber slow or thsi drive is fubar
In event manager it comes up with errors.."an error was detected on hdd during a paging operation"
So i silly question ..is is broke?
Also only installed windows again today after splitting up raid and have had lots of application hangs
I really want raid 0 back..
