Is my Seagate working ok?

It's Seagate 320gig 7200.10 I believe.

Yup - only just shy of mine @ 67.3Mb/s.

I see you have the jumper on the back of the hard drive still in which limits it to 150MB/s. If you have a 300Mb/s SATA-II spec motherboard, you could remove that jumper and increase the burst (it will double).

I took that off to begin with but it said there were no hard drives. Think it'll work now I've installed XP?

CPU overhead looks a bit high though.

Depends on your controller. Some SATA controllers are more demanding than others. Mine is usually about 2% but then again, 7 isn't exactly bad.
