Hiya guys,
I purchased one of the 32gb Patriot SSD for my new build. I have tried installing windows on it however it has proven to be a pig.
Anyways, I have recently set my other harddrives in Raid 0 and wanted to try and install windows 7 again.
Now then, i checked the bios to setup the boot priority and the SSD is isnt showing. I have swapped the SATA cables with ones i know are working, i have changed the power connecters etc and still nothing.
IS it dead or is there something i need to do in my bios.
I have a Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R. Its part of the i7 OcUK overclocked bundle 4.0Ghz
Does it need to be ina specific SATA slot?
thanks
