Is onboard RAID really any good ?

Any mileage in getting one of those highpoint RAID cards ?

It would move the raid processing from the CPU and onto specialsed hardware which is the normal method in a server environment......


Dunno if thats going to translate into better performance for a gaming workstation though.

Aye that makes sense, i don't suppose a second off loading Vista is going to be wrth £70+
