Hello all.

I've always left my CPU Cache Frequency at its stock speed which is 4700MHz. I'm currently running an 8700K @ 5100MHz 1.345v LLC5. Would overclocking my cache produce any performance improvement? Cheers guys.

It can help in certain benchmarks and tasks but it doesn't make so much difference that you are going to notice it in day to day use. I have always done it because I have paid for a unlocked cpu so want to get the most out of it. I had a 4670k clocked to 4.4Ghz core and cache, 4790k 4.6Ghz core/4.4Ghz cache and now my 9600k at 5Ghz core/4.7Ghz cache.

Nope, nothing wrong with upping it a little but the real work gains from cache is little/nothing. the do make benchmark scores look good thought

I upped it to 4800mhz and then kinda forgot about it lol. No crashes either. I might play around with it to see how high it can go.
