I tried to take GPU out by pulling it without clip open, using little force but as soon i realized that i opened clip, can pcie or card be damaged? It is asus safeslot, and i dindt notice artifacts or other problems while gaming.

For now i dindt notice issues, but i rarely do gaming or others tasks that use GPU. Im wondering how durable are these asus safeslot?
Are you getting any issues at all? If not, then it's not a damaged PCIE slot. :) Either there would be no display, artefacts/graphics issues.

If it’s working and nothing is physically damaged or snapped off it’s fine. Pcie slots and cards in general are pretty durable. You would have to literally pull on the card as hard as you could to damage it or the board.

What about pins? they are weaker part of slot and little bit harder to notice damage on them.

I managed to rip the PCIE slot off the motherboard doing this once. But I would say that you will probably notice fairly quickly if you have damaged it or not.

So you didn't actually remove the card from the slot?

If you only used a little force, you will not have damaged the slot.

Of course if you had managed to remove the card you may well damage the slot or even the GPU.

I dindt remove, but tried couple of times by pushing it out with little more force. I know slots are weak parts of motherboard and pins can be easly damaged so thats why i ask.
