Hi,
Can anyone pls help? Is someone using my e-mail address to send people spam? I seem to be getting a lot of returning Mail Delivery Subsystem e-mails.

Yes it's entirely possible. Millions of years ago when we used BT Openworld as our ISP, I received a nasty letter telling me to stop sending people spam or else my service would be cut off.

I explained to BT that I'd never used the email address they provided me with and that it must be someone who's hacked into my account or something, they soon sorted it out.

dont they mask the sender section with address from the same list

Yes, it's not your address being accessed, they are simply claiming to be sending as you. You simply get all the bounces. You can put anything you like in the email address section of you client and claim to be sending as someone else, as they have done with telnet.

They probably haven't hacked into your account, as Snakedoctor said, just masked you as the sender. Just ignore it, not much you can do. If you have control over your email, disable catch all, that should cut out a lot.
