Is that it for X99 boards then?

Seems the upcoming MSI Carbon Godlike is on that already... looks nice actually, although the price is likely to be extortionate going on the existing Godlike board.

Got to laugh at some of the names they're giving boards now.

I always thought motherboards would be free from the type of marketing you see on graphics cards.

Several vendors have boards in planing for X99 so no need to worry!!

Watch this space as they say!!!

Is it just me, or is the styling on these really... err... awful? That font they've used belongs in the 90's.

Same as the Z170 gaming range it seems.

What is worrying is if that white+blue one doesnt have a m.2 slot (it might be under that shroud or somewhere not shown yet) then that sucks.

The white+orange one while having orange colour usually associated with the overclocking range (SOC/OC) isn't one of those.

I'll stick with my RVE, I'll probably pickup a cheap'ish 5960X to replace my 5930K when people start selling them to make room for the Broadwell-E chips :)

I see there is a new MSI Gaming Pro on the way (which looks quite nice and will no doubt be more affordable than the Godlike), and also Asus have the X99 A II, X99 Deluxe II and X99 STRIX upcoming apparently. No idea what the Asus boards look like, but the Sabertooth is my favourite at the moment so I'm not sure if they will be going for something along those lines with the Strix perhaps, or is Strix typically red styling?

I only wowed when I saw Asus X99-E WS, Asrock X99 Extreme 11 and Asrock X99-WS. These are the only board in the market which can run Quad SLI + nvme pcie M.2 SSD. The MSI godlike sure has colours :D
