I'm wary at best about using beta drivers, and I would usually avoid them altogether, but I've heard these may provide a solution to the crippling performance issues I have on Bioshock Infinite.

So, could anyone who has used them please tell me if they have encountered any problems?

there ok for me one or two games dont launch in fullscreen mode but alt+ enter fixes that

bioshock wise i get 80fps average on max.

They screwed me over on Crysis3, but unfortunately as I'm away for easter I haven't had chance to try them with Bioshock infinite yet.

Thanks for the replies. 80fps would be a dream come true for me. Could you tell me what GPU you use?

Very safe and very fast on a 7970 on the following.

BF3
Farcy3
Sleeping Dogs
Bioshock Infinite
Hitman
Dirt Showdown
Tomb Raider
Black Ops 2
Aliens Colonial Marines
Metro2033

well i had a fair few crashes with beta 3 especially with openGL games and once i switched over to the whql driver all crashes have stopped.

I posted a thread about it but no one else had that problem it seems

Was an issue with 13.3 beta 2 which was fixed one day later with 13.3 beta 3.

Alright, thanks very much for the reassurance.

Sorry, one more question: did you guys do the clean uninstall of the old river (with driver sweeper etc.) before installing, or did you just install it over the top?

Uninstall old driver, restart, install new driver.

yeah i couldn't start doom/quake with beta 2 but moved to beta 3 which resulted in these system restarts. Like i said though, no one else seemed to know what i was talking about so i guess i had some odd issue with my system meaning it's not all a fault with the beta 3.
Moving to whql fixed it immediately though... weird
maybe i messed up with the de-install of beta 2 somewhere. i used driver fusion but i only used the freeware version?

Could well be a problem with your os somewhere then mate as no one else has that problem. However if you wish to have one last stab at it try using the version of driver fusion i added to my thread. Just read the read me in the zip file. ;)

I would stay away from them for now and stick with the 13.1 WHQL.
