Is the board up to it

Hi all im kinda new to OC
i have an e6600 conroe cpu but im not sure the mobo is up to much for OC its an gigabyte 965p dq6 [4x1gig pc2-4300 266mhz ram ]

id like to up it from stock ,ive read the sticky and was just wondering if i would be better picking up a better mobo [plenty 2nd hand ones out there] or stick with this till next upgrade .

The mobo wont be the problem, the RAM is what will hold you back as it will only ket you go to 1066 FSB

Lol i was just looking at that ,could you recommened any [would do it justice]

any better 4Gb Patriot Extreme DDR2 PC2-6400 (800MHz)
