Is the Hazro HZ27WC 8-Bit 27" LED monitor any good?

I'm thinking about buying the Hazro HZ27WC 8-Bit 27" LED to replace my current 24" monitor and was wondering if it is a good deal? I'm just worried that the monitor being so cheap will have back light bleed and not be that great. The price is certainly right though.

Any input on whether the monitor is worth getting or not?

Thanks for any help :).

EDIT: Ah balls, just noticed the thread on all Hazro monitors. Sorry for that.

I don't own one personally but I've been looking into 27" 1440p monitors a lot as I plan to get one soon enough. The Hazro does seem like a great deal although it used to be better as the price has risen quite sharply in the last month or so.

If you got a good one then it would be well worth it. It's meant to be an excellent screen, but there are some quality control issues concerning dead pixels amongst other things, which are discussed more in depth in the main hazro thread.

This has been enough to put me off, but it might not be of that much concern to yourself. Now I'm considering the Samsung s27a850d although the input lag may be too high on that.

Isn't the WC only £10 more then the lowest it's been. Also how is 4:3 on the WC and does the WD have less input lag then the the WA?

I went from 24" to the Hazro in December, its fantastic, I understand some people are not happy with them but for me its been great, going back to to my old 24" monitor at work the text seems huge, well worth the dosh.

It's always fluctuated in price but even just back in around Nov/early Dec you could pick one up for around £350 in the occasional weekly offer.

I'm not sure how 4:3 would translate on to the WC as I was purely looking at them from a gaming perspective where this wouldn't be necessary as I'd be using the screen in it's native resolution where possible.

The WC has less input lag than the WD and is the better gaming monitor. This is due to the WC not having a scaler, so by bypassing that bit of technology you decrease the lag. Not sure how the WD and WA compare though.

Has the glass version ever been cheaper then £350?

I went ahead and bought it :). I'm just hoping that Overclockers delivers nice and fast now :D. Programming on a small monitor is a pain in the arse so this will be a nice upgrade.

The WC does scale very well, cant tell much if any of image quality loss when dropping to 1080p or 1440p or whatever.
The WC scales absolutely nothing, is has no scaler. Your video card needs to upscale whatever to 2560x1440 (and if you're gaming at any lower than that your video card already seems to be doing a fine job at it ;)).

Need to be a member of the forums for at least 3 months and have a post count of over 250. Still though with postage included it's still a good price for a 27" 1440p monitor.

Since it is quite a lot of money, I think I should get free postage.

If they want my money, then I want free postage, it's as simple as that.

Also one more thing about this monitor, does it have negative tilt, as in can you tilt it downwards?

You can tilt it back and forth but that's the only adjustments you can make.

As for getting free postage, keep us posted how you get on with that.

Though I suspect there won't be any exceptions to the rules as if they do it for one person, then everyone will want it.

Everyone spending that much should get free postage, also I am a forum member and will one day meet the free postage requirements.

That maybe would make sense then, i would say when running at different resolutions you dont get the quality loss you would get say on a 2407 dell or something like that, I suppose its more like running a TV and running 720p, 1080p etc, they all look fantastic.

It was what i was worried about most, having a high resolution and running at a lower resolution for games that would struggle at the highest res.
