i know its old, but basically my mum is going to be getting rid of her few years old laptop and i said id have it, all i will need to do it get another hard drive and set it up and while this laptop is a ddr3 supported model, it runs a celeron, so thinking about how to possibly make it alittle quicker because i can basically, not because i need to as i dont as its for browsing, emails when im away from computer mainly nothing more, but i cant afford new or decent 120gb and rather spend on my desktop in that sense...

anyways good or bad this is £30 ive found for or my other option is a 500gb hdd for under £20, dont really want to spend much on this as its not worth it, just need something working and suitable.

Thanks for advice.

I do scout MM from time to time, but when I do have the money things I’ve seen are gone or too far from me, right now I have only collection as an option, unless it’s from a shop with card detail options I have no other way to purchase for private sales online.

Anyways that ocz has gone, but have seen a Kingston ssdnow v200 64gb for a bit less, I am just in the wrong location right now to get it, not something on this site, the 120gb of the same family I once had seemed okay and it should be enough for what I need of it, bigger hard drives just makes me install loads more stuff lol, but as this won’t be capable of any games that’s probably this side of the 90s I won’t need to fill it with that stuff even from discs, I do convert music from YouTube to put on my phone, but I have a brand new flash drive to decide if to store them rather than delete.

Don’t get me wrong, if I find a 120gb or bigger for not much more then fine, it’s a no brainier, but I’m limiting myself to £50 as the laptop isn’t worth spend more on.

£30 is a bit steep for an old 60gb SSD, you should be able to pick up a 120gb drive for that.

But the OCZ Agility 3's are good, I have 2 of them, one in a HTPC that's on 24/7 and another in a laptop that gets a lot of use.

There are these ones on this site

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £276.85 (includes shipping: £9.90)

Lately I have been buying WD hdds for my computer and got 2 greens, but I don’t think I could buy that WDG ssd or either really for the laptop, it has 2gb ram which is its max, so I can’t make it any quicker, I would rather stick those in my Lenovo as a boot drive as I could buy a much better laptop for £60, but this advent is free as my mum was going to dump it lol which is why I’m trying to spend as little as possible, I might just end up buying a used 500gb hdd at half the cost of the 64gb ssd.

I know there's no selling outside the MM but if you create a thread in the wanted section I've a 240Gb (I think it's a Kingston) that I'd be willing to let go in your price range.

If this post isn't isn't allowed I'm sorry Admins.
