Is the PSP really doing that badly

A new nub will never be added to the existing PSP though. Perhaps to a PSP2 and no chance of that while the PSP is riding high in Japan and a massive support push for it in other territories.
Its like MS bringing out an inbuilt bluray hardware revision for the 360 and saying "all games must now come on bluray".

I like my psp tbh its great while travelling or lunch times at work.

How my only grief with it is the screen. Play it outdoors in even remote sunshine and it becomes near on impossible to see what is on the screen.

I'm pretty sure the DS doesnt have this problem.

I have no idea how they can solve that problem though

After going to the bay and finding that PSP 3000's were selling almost at the price they are new I went to a gaming store in Dudley and got a second hand PSP 3003 in Mystic Silver for £105 with three months warrenty. I picked up Dead to Rights Reckoning for £5 as an half price deal for buying the PSP and game at the same store.

Dudley Market was on and I managed to pick up Phantasy Star Universe Portable up. Which is great because I bought the PSP for that game alone. :D My PSN username is the same as my XBL one.

On yeah I also picked up the TV cables up to. It should make a good movie player when on my hols.
