Everytime I hear this I keep expecting it to be something else which I am convinced its a classic 90s track (maybe)

Don't know, but that's the cutest thing to ever come out from Y Fenni!

The intro's a common chord sequence - much like the verse that follows it - so I'm ruling out it being a sample, at least. Something in my mind is saying "Radiohead", but that might just be the pianoesque sound.
