Is there a bottleneck in my setup?

Some games run fine, others don't. I don't run games on a high res as it's connected to my HD tv at 1360x768.

Specs:
AMD FX 8320 Eight Core @3.5ghz not overlocked
8GB DDR3 Can't remember the MHZ but i think its over 1300
ATI HD 7790 1GB DDR5
800 Watt PSU

The pc seems to struggle most at MMO games and FPS usually runs 85fps... FPS games run no problem and other single player games seem to run fine as well.

Performance varies greatly per game, this is normal. It's possible your CPU is bottlenecking you in MMO games though (games with lots of players are normally more CPU dependant). What games are you playing?

Currently I'm mostly on League of Legends, no real issue there with FPS or running the game i can broadcast it to twitch tv without any frameloss. The PC seems to struggle with WoW which actually put me off playing the game. Also tried out TERA online and my setup didn't like to run that either.

Struggling with WoW is really bizarre. What settings are you running it on? Does it only slow down with lots of people in the zone?

MMOs are generally single threaded and are a poor matchup to your CPU. TBH a locked i3 will produce far better results than a fx octo at stock just because these MMOs cant use more than one or two threads. I believe WoW and LOL issues just one, but i don't play them so i am not sure.

Not even lots of people you get lag spikes etc when moving. Fps sits around 55 when its going smooth then drops down. Example would be if i create a new character in the kung fu panda zone ( ^^ ) it also struggles there with the fps stated above.. Wonder if anything would be faulty as every now and then my screen also flashes, but only when i'm not in games.. just browsing etc

Could be a GPU issue but i am willing to be that the CPU is the culprit for the fps dropping suddenly. These games fail to utilise the power that these CPUs have been seen to deliver in other apps and games.

I would say have a dabble at getting your CPU to 4.5GHz - plenty of people here to help you if need be. Also your gpu memory at only 1GB is not ideal but can't imagine that to be causing slowdown in WoW. Games like BF4, Crysis 3 etc use more than 2GB mem @ 1080p so your gpu would limit you there, even though you are running a smaller res I would imagine they still use more than 1GB memory.

Overclock CPU and upgrade to something like an AMD 280x if you have the money. Or a second hand 7970 2gb should be mega cheap on the bay of e.

So far the best i've managed to get it is 4GHZ manual overclock and running on P95 Tried 4.2ghz and as soon as i started the prime test it crashed

WoW is super hard on CPU in raids but if you're having general FPS issues when just moving around and in the Panderan starting zone then it's probably due to your graphics settings.

Drop shadows down to medium as they murder FPS and also switch off SSAO as that's another FPS killer. Although WoW is an old game, they have tacked on things like volumetric shadows, proper water, and SSAO and they are extremely badly optimised. Dropping things down a notch from Ultra should sort you out.
