Hi there.
So ive made a few posts since i got the card on the gpu forum here about some sort of motion tearing/bluring in videos like utube and gaming and some issues with gta 4 and 5. In gta 5 if i go speeding in a fast card sometimes textures dont load quick enough or at all sometimes. In gta 4 if i mess about with gfx settings ingame and click apply sometimes the game goes black screen and doesnt recover and i get a blue screen saying video scheduler internal error.
Ive ran some firestrike benchmarks they dont crash ive played some games fine tho not tested a whole lot in depth just the gta games as i wanted to replay them butter smooth with my new card anyhow.
I searched ocuk forum for video scheduler internal error and found this post
https://forums.overclockers.co.uk/posts/31264807
But unlike the OP over on that topic my card recovers after a reboot. Windows after said wattsman went back to default cos of the bsod thing. Which i didnt oc the vram or the gpu just mild undervolt which should be fine. Anyhow.
I did the test in that post i found above and this is what i got. So now im worryed cos i think it found errors.
I have the intel 4000 disabled in bios btw, im on a oc of 4.5 on the 3570k with 1.2v and cpu pll at 1.7 instead of 1.8 and my ram is using xmp profile 1600.
Using latest drivers, latest version 1903 i think of win 10. Defo cleared all old nvidia and amd and intel drivers using ddu so cant be a conflict there. Psu is a hx620 which is old i admit but never had a issue and had a 780ti 3gb in and that supposably is a bit more power hungry than the vega 56 pulse so im not sure what to do.
If i showed this to ocuk staff on cs forum would they say send the card back and well test it, if they do tho and they just ran a benchmark of passmark or firestrike it probably show ok and gaming randomly it probably would show ok, only this new mem test thing i tried cos of that post above showed any sign of a fault with the vram.
Update -
Ok so maybe that version of memtestcl thing is giving false errors and is old, i found this topic and contained i presume a more upto date version and this gave me no errors so er now im confused even more now.
