Is there a Nvidia GPU that has 5.1 support on the GPU?

a bit like the new ATI 4850 5.1 support over hdmi? Is there anything like that from Nvidia?

Also is it possible to have a PC motherboard hold 1 Nvidia card and 1 ATI card at the same time. Then have two user accounts on Vista or XP where each account has Nvidia drivers for when you want to play using Nvidia drivers and the other account has ATI drivers when you want to play with your ATI card, is this possible or is something similar possible?

Many thanks in advance

My leadtek GTX280 comes with a lead to supply audio through hdmi, my 9800gtx did as well, however when i plugged it in, it literally went up in a puff of smoke, which has stopped me attempting the 280 one :P

anyone know about my other question

the 9 series cards have an spdif header which connects to the spdif header on the motherboard, none have onboard audio tho

You can do that - but you shouldn't have to - you can run both sets of drivers simultaneously, and just change which card is the master in settings - that will decide which one is used for full screen games (plus you can run 4 screens!)

I'm not 100% if this still is the case, but in XP you can happily run both simultaneously, but it used not to be possible in vista

What new windows is coming out?

So one way is to run both sets of drivers simultaneously!

So the other way can be my way. As in have two accounts which are both vista and each account having the ATI driver and the other account having the Nvidia driver and then SLI and Crossfire twin GPU's from each manufacturer in one PC case on the same motherboard. Is that possible?

Much thanks

Why are you trying to run audio out of your GFX? Are you trying to run it into a LCD television or something?
