Is there a sardine shortage?

Irrelevant provided that he drinks plenty of water.

Yeah I know people say salt is bad for you but I've done a lot of reading on this, especially on bodybuilding.com and I've learnt that bodybuilders need more salt then regular people especially those that do HIT (high intensity training). Also we need more vitamins and minerals then regular people as they're depleted during training.

I usually take multivitamin in morning and then one for PWO (post workout nutrition), as well as cod liver oil and vitamin C.

In the past before I started with the gym and before I ate this way, I always got ill all the time and felt terrible and had low energy, now I always feel good, have loads of energy and never seem to get ill. I used to get colds half a dozen times a year. I remember one time I got a cold literally once every 2 weeks for 6 weeks in a row...was messed up.

OP have you considered cottage cheese? Very high in protein and not meat based.

Yeah they all told me to try it on bodybuilding.com, especially before bed instead of a casein shake. I was really excited about this because it sounded so great from what I had read about it and was really cheap to buy from supermarket too, but having not been a big lover of chese when I tried it I couldnt even swollow it, it was awful.

TBH I can be quite strict with my nutrition and I dont mind eating things I dont like the taste of, but this was the worst thing I ever tasted in my life.

I drink unflavoured whey shake after workout which taste awful and I also drink unflavoured casein shake before bed which taste even worse but I'm used to it so dont care and the results I'm getting from this diet are fantastic so I'm happy.

I'd highly recommend cottage cheese to anyone who can stand the taste though, if not, casein is next best thing.

I appretiate the links but it looks like this might just be my city, I found other artiucles online that said it was like this in liverpool too.

I've been to every supermarket I can think of over past few weeks and they didnt have...some of the supermarkets said they've been discontinued.

Also I think even tho they're on the tesco's website if you ordered them they wouldnt arrive. Prob best checking your local store or giving them a call first.

I got tuna today just for this week, but I've just decided I'm going to buy cartons of egg whites next week from online and also try and buy everything else online, maybe try different types of fish, depends what I can find and the right price.

Try macro or costo

Cottage cheese is not even half as miserable as unflavoured whey shakes with water - I would know as I have both every day :p

Sounds like a terribly boring diet, worse then a prison I'd guess.

You must be sick of the sight of eggs and tinned fish. Surely you can eat a variety of foods in healthy quantities and still work out and be healthy?
