It completely refuses to connect to my old controller

It works with my other one but it's got a dodgy shoulder button. MS really seem to be crap with their hardware, and from the mess of the PS3 controller Sony aren't doing any better either

I'm still waiting on my MS wheel retrofit too.

Thanks, I'm not an invalid.

When you sync the headset it assigns itself to a controller, but it refuses to be assigned to my old controller.
