Is there a way to make my HDD default for windows update

Hello, So i've installed win8.1 on my SSD, and want all the windows update to go onto my HDD, is there a way to do that?

Also, is there a way to make everything else saved by default on the HDD instead?

Not sure about Windows Update, but it's easy enough to make use of the hard disk rather than the SSD for everything else.

In Windows 7 (and via Start Menu options in Windows 8.1) you can change where Libraries such as My Documents point to. Move the location to your D: Drive (or whatever letter the HDD is).

You can get to these libraries via Computer/This PC as well.

I don't think you can due to the system downloading the updates to the windows folder on the C drive.

I did a quick search and came across this link, not sure if this is something you want to do

ms clean up now cleans up windows updates.

If you trying to move winxs, not possible i don't think.
